Two nights, two sorts of fun: Noryangjin, DDP Flower Display
Night at Noryangjin Seafood Market! It is one of the many places I wanted to go because seafood is really my most favourite food on earth:) Craved so badly for some raw sashimi! Upon entering the wet market, I was surprised how organised the whole place looks! And also how it was not flooded with tourists!
We walked pass many stores, all of them calling out to us as we were obviously a really big group, with 13 of us. What would be called a 'big fish'.
Look at that salmon!! OMG..
Seeing the wide range of seafood available at this store, we decided to patronise it! The ahjuma was so nice to lift the live octopus up for us to snap a photo! However, due to the language barrier, it was very difficult to communicate what we want and how much of it we want, especially terms to call the seafood! THANKS to Yi Wei and Hiang Ngee for helping:)
Also, the raw sashimi was so expensive! Almost 30,0000won for one big piece of it. So in the end, we did not order that:(:( Probably cos we look young and easy to cheat hence the inflation of prices! My parents and sister went to Noryangjin too, but could easily get the whole raw fish platter for just 15,000won!
After ordering, we were guided upstairs to wait for a seat! We did not know how crowded it was till we went upstairs. Initially, the server said we would have to wait about an hour, which made us really angry! By then our raw food would have ROT.. But, seeing our angry faces, he found an empty room for us.
Will never get sick of this sannakji!:):)
Will definitely be back here at the end of the year when the tk people comes! Looking forward to eating my sashimi soon!:)
The second interesting night was at Dongdaemun Design Plaza! This was my third time here, but each time brings with it different interesting things for me to explore! Seoul's Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) flower garden was filled with 20,000 flowers lit up by LED bulbs.
So hard to get this photo because so many couples were hanging around taking couple selfless… They were so immersed in their loveland that they have no awareness of their surroundings lol!

After a kalguksu dinner at Dongdaemun, we decided to look for Remicone Ice Cream, located on the first floor of Doota. Upon entering the main entrance, it is located on the far left corner:) As Remicone is a new store, it was not easy to find because of the lack of information online.
These are the different flavours offered! Look so pretty and interesting:)
We ordered the chocolate and the Thunder ice cream to share! The one with the candy floss cost 6,100 won, not cheap at all! What was interesting was that other than the grey candy floss that looked like a storm cloud, there were also small sparklers (the yellow bits) that would pop when in your mouth! I felt that the 'storm' concept of this ice cream is really genius!
Doota shopping mall from outside:)
After ice cream, we had street stall food:) Featuring my newly bought hat!
