Accommodation matters

Tip on how to start looking for accommodation:

Korea University is right between the subway stations Anam station and Korea University station (Line 6). Hence, depending on which campus you are going to, proceed to look for accommodation from there!

Types of accommodation I considered:

1. CJ International House (Single room: 2,000,000krw, Double room: 1,580,000 krw for fall season)
2. Anam Global House (Double room: 1,580,000 krw, Triple room: 880, 000 krw for fall season)
3. Goshitels (price depends on options)

The price range of all three options are about the same, with goshitels slightly more expensive. 1 and 2 are all with shared bathrooms. For me, I have quite an OCD, hence I preferred private bathroom and a private room. Hence, I preferred goshitels. Also, goshitels were more convenient for travelling as they were located closer to subway stations.

This was a list of goshitels that I considered:

Price: 'Shower-room' is a monthly rent of 450,000 to 510,000 won

The Korean staffs are generally very friendly and rate of reply of email queries are very efficiently. However, it might require some effort to configure their English. HAHA had quite a laugh with my friends! In the end, our choice of accommodation was Isaac Residences. Hope it is the right choice!! 
Payment of deposit of 100, 000 krw per room was required for reservation. Payment details was provided by the ahjussi in-charge:) 
Tip: If only overseas bank transferred is allowed, it would be good if one of your friends transfer for all of you via ibanking and subsequently split the cost. Because, overseas transaction charges amount to approximately $50 per transaction. A way to save money, why not?:)
