Inching to Incheon

Taking the subway for approximately two hours from Anam, we reached Incheon Station! Reached Incheon around 10am, which is a good timing (because we have always been behind time for all our trips)! Chinatown is immediately located outside the subway exit! Just across the road, you will see this chinese-looking street:)

As it was still quite early, the streets were quiet and empty! Walked around and the first thing I noticed was the number of stores selling jajangmian and zzhambong, their definition of Chinese food! I wish they had like proper China chinese food instead:P

Interesting murals along the way that beautify the street:)

They tried to make the buildings as 'chinese' as possible:)

This crisp air-filled cracker/ biscuit tasted good, so I bought one home to snack on! Crushed it all on the  way though.

The sold moon cakes too:)

They had many unique flavours, I bought the coffee and green tea ones:) 2000won each, not very cheap but at least it's good!

Poster shoot with my quirky friends at the front entrance of Peace Garden, which we didn't even enter cos of the number of stairs haahah! Doing the stereotypical Chinese Kungfu pose!

Lunched at one of the restaurants owned by a Chinese migrant to Korea. Hence, all our communication were in Chinese, and it was a surprisingly nice feeling:) Shared jajangmian and zhambong with Wanqian because we did not know which to choose! The seafood zhambong was the best I've eaten in Korea so far!!

After lunch, we headed to Sowol-dong Fairytale Village (인천동화마을). Getting there is really simple, just walk through to the end of Chinatown street, turn left and walk straight down the street for about 5 minutes and the fairytale village is on your right:)

This fairytale-themed village is actually part of the government's plan to renovate the rundown village in Incheon city centre. It has since been one of Incheon's most popular tourist destination:)

This first street is themed in pink! What a pretty place, especially for girls and couples!!

First theme was the princesses of Disney:) Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty.

Red Riding Hood themed:)

There was a pop up store selling goodies and services for face paint to raise funds. My friends decided to have their face painted!

Noah Ark themed:)

Alice in Wonderland:)

Wizard of Oz themed:)

There were also other themes like Hasel and Gretel, Peter Pan etc:)

Stopped by Noumin Cafe while walking back to Incheon Station:) Had a black tea milk tea!

Outside Incheon Station, there was an Information Center, which we seemed help on how to get to Wolmido Island:) We could take a bus 23 from right outside the street to Wolmido! How convenient:)

Had supper lots of fun taking the Viking Ship:):) Can't wait for Everland and Lotte World:)

Just in time for sunset:) Yet another perfect weekend passed with my mates again:)
