Jeju Day 3

The third and our final day in Jeju started with a trip to Jusangjeolli Cliffs, which consists of the natural rock formations of hardened lava into hexagonal blocks. This rare formation could only occur when hot lava come into contact with the sea, and cool down rapidly to form this regular patterns.

Our next stop was Yongmeori Beach, and nearby it is a temple on the cliff. The tranquility of this temple made me slow down to take a moment to reflect on my life, and enjoy the moment thoroughly:) It was therapeutic just by looking out to the vast ocean from this height!

On the way to the beach, we bought grilled octopus! The smell was heavenly hence we decided to try it! SUPER AWESOME!

Dad feeding me like a fish catching the bait!

The ticket from the temple previously included a visit to Hamel, a small ship museum and also the beach.

There were ahjumas that set up tiny stores along the coastline selling freshly caught seafood!

Da queen on her throne! Just kidding LOL!

Then, we headed to Mini Land. They had a buffet restaurant there so we decided to head there for lunch first! It was simple but filling:) Singaporeans never leave a buffet venue not feeling filled to the brim!

Mini land essentially shows places of interest all over the world in miniature versions! For me, I felt that it wasn't worth the trip as it was very similar to the one at Legoland Malaysia!

First signs of autumn!!

Towards the end of the day, our last stop was Osulloc! It was initially not in the itinerary but so glad that we managed to go:)

The green tea plantation that had real green tea plants but thankfully no snakes as they have warned!!

Across the street, Osulloc serves its usual menu!

My personal favourite from Osulloc is the green tea roll as well as the tiramisu (not in picture)! I feel that their cakes are better than their drinks, with a more authentic green tea taste!

Daddy mummy posing with the green tea!

Conveniently located beside Osulloc is Innisfree, originated from Jeju Island! Personally my favourite face products are all from this brand!!

Stealing a shot with it too! HEHEHE

Range of products, however, were the same as those offered in stores around Seoul and prices are also the same. Thought that it would be cheaper since it originated from her but NOPE!

It was interesting that there is a customising of products services for customers here:)

Innisfree even operated a cafe inside!

Perks of having a car, you get to stop by the seaside just to catch sunset!

Later in the evening, we headed downtown to their market. It was catered to both tourists and locals, selling both souvenirs as well as fresh produce!

On Day 4, my dad detoured to Mysterious Road to let me experience this super fascinating optical illusion which I still can't come to terms with despite knowing the explanation! Basically, objects seem to roll uphill, defying gravity, on this particular stretch of road!
