Boseong Green Tea Plantation

This post's photos are mostly credited to joe yong's and joylynn's camera reason being my parents took back the dslr with them for my sister to use in her upcoming Europe trip! So sobs! Any other photos that are not as clear is from my poor iPhone 5s!

Thinking back on the previous week's Nami Island tour, travelling to Boseong Green Tea plantation was way longer! It was almost 6 hours from Seoul and 6 hours journey back...My friends even joked about it saying, we could have gone back to Singapore in that time! Hahaha so true!

However, despite the long bus journey (which of course we slept as if there was no tomorrow), I did not regret spending one precious weekend on this getaway!

Bought out my new beanie (with the humongous ball with it) together with hiang ngee, we are the Ball Sisters! Hahaha!

Late in the afternoon, around 4plus pm, we arrived at the plantation taking taxi! The sunset time was around 5.30pm, so time was really tight!

Shop selling green tea products!

Urban people like us first time seeing green tea fields, hence the selfie!

Ball 1 helping Ball 2 take photo!

Ball 2 risking her life sitting on the edge to take a nice photo, which is subsequently followed by everyone else too!

At (or nearing) the submit, because we were too lazy to climb further! Breathtaking, but if only we could sip some green tea while enjoying this view it would have been purrrfect!!

Literally 'running' into the arms of nature:)

Group photo with my travel mates!! Why all so good looking?:P

By the time we reached back downhill, it was already sunset and the store was closed! Devastated till the owner offered to open his store again for us! Yayy perks of travelling in a big group!

Around night time, we travelled to the city centre, which was also very quiet like a haunted town, to have some BBQ pork! This BBQ was very unique in the sense that it is cooked with green tea fragrance. Can't be seen in this picture thou! Green tea leaves are placed below the pan, hot water constantly added and the steam from the green tea vapour will enter the meat:) But, I could only taste the green tea flavour in the garlic!

Bought some sparklers and fireworks to play at the beach!

Finally after a long day, we reached our accommodation of the night, Golmangtae Pension! Smuggled extra three people in, but since we were given the extra huge room, all 13 of us slept in the living room together:) Luxurious camping style!

Next morning, we walked back to the green tea plantation to get goodies from the store! View of our accommodation (picture taken from booking.com). Braved the cold and walked for almost half an hour… dreads!

If only green tea ice cream was that big!!

Ice cream for breakfast!
