Heyri Art Valley: The Village Overflowing with Artistic Vibes

Somewhere outskirts of Seoul, near the DMZ of Paju, there lay a beautiful art village away from the bustling life of the city. Somewhat glad that this place is not yet commercialised like the tourist attractions in Seoul, retaining its tranquility as vibrancy:)

As we decided to go on Korea's public holiday, the queue for the bus 2200 took about an hour. Plus, we got lost on the way hence an adventure in the outskirts! By the time we arrived at our destination Gate 6, it was already lunch time!

A quick stop to the toilet:) Even the sign to the toilet is so cute!

Laced with photo zones and art works, this village is the paradise for artists and art lovers like us!

Simple lunch before we set off!

Entrance of museum, had to pay 7000krw entrance fee so the cheapskate us decided to forsake this chance! HAHA!

More cuteness spotted!

The famous MotNanYi Bread had a long queue so we did not get to try!

Hn with Madagascar's Gloria

More artefacts scattered around the area:)

I think I blend in pretty well:)

Trick Eye Museum

The buildings here shouts of contemporary modern designs. Posh! If only one of them were my house…

Never miss taking photos of daisies all around the world!

More jaw-dropping architecture, and these are merely bistro, restaurants or cafes! Koreans really do know how to enjoy life:)

With so many galleries and museums around, we were spoilt for choice! But we all knew Chocolate Gallery was not to be missed!

Look at all the chocolate we've got! The drink was so chocolate (sorry no other better descriptive word)!

Italiano Restaurant with the flag as design! Cool!

Comf-Cafe is a furniture shop with cafe. A really interesting concept whereby the sell the furniture people use in the cafe!

Found the big chair where Taemin and Naeun sat in on We Got Married! Not easy to get on it!!

More cafes and art on the way…looks like an art piece on its own!

Look who's so happy spotting a dog!

Happy Prince on the roof! He's everywhere:) I want to go to Petite France soon!

Farmer's Table is where famous Korean Drama films shot their scenes, such as Gentleman's Dignity and Boys Over Flowers.

My friends trying to film a drama of their own:P

Looks familiar?:)

At the Strawberry Amusement Land for kids! Somehow this place reminds me of Japan!

Ending our happy day with Omu Rice dinner in Mecentapolis mall at Hapjeong!
