National Museum of Korea/ Chimek picnic at Han River
Instead of lazing my day away, I decided to go to National Museum of Korea, the largest museum here. Happy to have my friends to come with me! Always thought I'm the weird fellow that loves museums.
Located conveniently at Ichon Station Exit 2:)
This was a little creepy… called standing tombs but the dead were placed in squatting positions and buried vertically! After watching to much scifi movies, this looked like alien eggs to me
Many potteries, scriptures and rusted iron weaponry and ingots on display
Roof tiles
Totally failed at imitating this short warrior at holding a sword! So awkward with people staring..
Shrine in the palace
Did not have time to tour the second and third floor galleries because of our next activity! Beautiful outside pond with ducks:)
Before the sun set, we headed to Han River to meet the rest! Walkable distance from Express Bus Terminal:)
Picnic mat from Daiso was too small for 9 of us! My bad!
Clueless about how to order chimek (chicken-beer), we scavenged for fliers on the grass and Joylynn managed to order in complete Korean! Well donee!

Duck-shaped vase used by the ancestors for burial rites. Looks comical to me though! Chicken Run?
