Juno Hair/ Bossam at Ehwa Women's University

So coming back from Gyeongju, I decided that I really needed a hair cut! My curls are out of control (and my hair is falling like crazy)… So after hearing much about Juno Hair salon, me and gen decided to give it a try!

Located at Ehwa Women's University Station Exit 2, walk straight down and its around the corner:) Apparently, its famous as many celebrities did their hair at Juno.

Was hesitant to enter, but we were warmly greeted by the staff at the counter, asking what we would like to be done for our hair. It is advisable to have something in mind before coming as most Koreans like to replicate exact hairstyles of celebrities.

There were a total of four levels and we were brought up to the third. They operated a cafe/ barista within the salon and we were given free drinks of our choice and some snacks while waiting for our turn. Ordered camomile tea!

Mandatory before shot, first time being so tensed about cutting hair! Had to put on this kimono coat and  we handed them our bags for safekeeping in lockers.

Then we were allocated a hairstylist that could speak a little english (luckily!) which explained to us the procedures and costs, and even a name card each!

Even though I only wanted a simple hair cut, there were lots of additional services like free hair wash, head and neck massage and excellent customer service! The were so meticulous that because I was wearing skirt, they gave me a blanket to cover:)

Cost of it was 28,000krw but I paid 21,500krw for membership rate:)

Okay, they did the temporary Korean perm hahhaa! First time allowing someone to cut my fringe, so nerve wrecking!!

After the hair cut, we went down the street to try this Bossam place we saw review from a blog. 6,000krw for one person set. However, it was only available for lunch time;(

Tried the three flavours set recommended by the staff, 41, 000krw:) Super sinful but we wiped it all up! Best thing about here? Free flow rice, side dishes and seaweed soup!

Random picture of Green Tea moon cake joylynn and joe young got from Chinatown! yayy!
