Caribean Bay/ Bossam/ Cafe Oui'/ Singaporean Cook Out

Scorching but cooling weather, we head off to Caribbean Bay before summer ends!! Caribbean Bay has an indoor and outdoor park, with many exhilarating slide/ tube rides, WAAAY better than Adventure Cove or Wild Wild Wet! If you come to Korea during summer period, it's definitely worth the visit:)

The wave pool was definitely the highlight of the day. Initially, everyone had to wear life vest before entering and I was quite puzzled by it. But the 2.4m tsunami wave (almost a two storey HDB) was definitely no joke! My jaw dropped and even fear overcame me when I saw how big the wave was! The biggest waves I ever seen in my life!!

Major culture shock experience of open public baths; everyone just bathed and walked around naked in the bathroom! OMGGGG..

Dinner was steamed pork belly bossam (보쌈). The meat was really tender and serving was generous! For those who appreciate pork fats will definitely enjoy this! I think my dad will love this!

On Saturday, we decided to explore the high end streets of Garosu-gil, famous for cafes and plastic surgery. The whole subway station was filled with plastic surgery advertisements impossible to miss. Even the 'hospitals' here look so legit!

Culture shock again, especially when I saw a lady walking around with a mask and a red swollen face..

Garosu-gil located at Sinsa Station is also filled with many cafes and high-end luxury brands. PRETTY PRETTY!

Cafe Oui is a spacious cafe tucked away in the small streets of Garosugil. It is an awesome hideout for a lazy Sunday brunch.

 The cute stuffed toys made the vintage atmosphere more endearing:)

After strolling the streets of Hongdae and tons of walking, we bought some ingredients for our singapore cookout at Teddy's host's place! It was really really nice to have home cooked food again!
