Busan Day 1: KTX/ HiKorea/ Gamcheon Village/ Jagalchi Market

Took the KTX from Seoul Station at approximately 9.30am. The train ride was approximate 2.5 hrs. It was surprising that there wasn't any gantries or officers around to check the tickets. One can simply just stroll into the train and get a free ride!

In the train, I ordered their famous banana milk for breakfast! 1300W (SGD$1.60)
Hiang ngee taking photos of the scenery using her Olympus.

Reached Busan Station and proceeded to take their local subway to Haeundae Station. Lunched at this restaurant beside our guesthouse as it wasn't check in time yet.

The guesthouse has a cat that was so cute!!! I miss the cat so much actually!

As there were six of us, we took the 6 bunk beds rooms. Total cost for three nights per pax was only $75.00! The bunk beds were clean and new, made of hand-craved wood.

Me sleeping on the upper bunk! Miss my own bunk bed at home!!

Despite the rain, we went to Gamcheon Village! However, because of the gloomy weather, we couldn't walk much nor take nice photos. Well, I hope to come back here again to explore the murals!

After all the walking, we went to Jagalchi Fish Market to fill our tummies with some fresh seafood! The ahjusshi was very friendly and even tried speaking English to us!

Finally an achievement unlock attempt!
Tried live octopus, it was so scary and wormy at first but I soon got addicted to this chewy and wriggling thing~

Strolled the night streets and stopped at DropTop Cafe to chill. Tried my first Patbingsu, green tea flavoured! So much nicer than our Singapore Ice Kachang!
